The list includes 33 cars, which are already sold or go on sale later this year in five or more European countries.
In December, the list will be reduced to seven models. The winner of the contest Car of the Year will be announced on 2 March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Vote, which will be motoring journalists from around the world, will take place in two stages.

• Peugeot 108;
• Porsche Macan;
• Renault Twingo;
• Skoda Fabia;
• Smart ForFour, Smart ForTwo;
• Subaru WRX STI;
• Suzuki Celerio;
• Toyota Aygo;
• Volkswagen Passat.
Recall "Car of 2014" was the Peugeot 308. On winning the prestigious competition also claimed Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Tesla Model S, BMW i3 and Jaguar F-Type. Just a year ago, journalists from 23 countries gave the most votes of the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf. Winner scored twice more points than twins Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86, who took up to vote in second place. The three leaders also joined Volvo V40.
