Renault released a teaser video of the new racing car


Since 2015 the car, dubbed the Renault Sport RS01, will participate in the new monokubke World Series Renault. 





The manufacturer describes as a novelty "simply outstanding car racing." The basis of the Renault Sport RS01, whose mass will be 1,100 pounds, lie carbon monocoque produced by Italian company Dallara. 


The car will receive a 500-hp engine, located in the rear, semidiapazonnuyu sequential transmission Sadev, and racing tires developed by Michelin for this special car. As expected, Renault Sport RS01 will replace former monokubke hatchback Megane Trophy, performing in competitions since 2009. It is built on a tubular chassis homologated FIA and is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 360 horsepower, a semi-automatic transmission with paddle shifters, adjustable shock absorbers and 18-inch wheels.
