The Korean company SsangYong, known as a manufacturer of classic SUV, yet dilute the lineup another crossover.

Concept SsangYong XLV was quite comparable in size with crossovers like the Kia Sportage, but had at the same seven-seat interior with an unusual configuration of 2 +2 +2 +1.

The serial version of the crossover will not only receive a traditional interior with two rows of seats, but will be much smaller. According to the publication Paultan, the manufacturer is going to position the new product named as a competitor X100 Ford EcoSport or Nissan Juke, that is scheduled to play in a very saturated segment.

Accordingly, the future novelty will be the most compact model of the Korean company and take a position in the lineup is a step below the crossover SsangYong Actyon. It is expected that the crossover will be equipped with brand new petrol and diesel engines of 1.6 liters, developed by engineers of SsangYong. As a manufacturer of transmissions offer a 6-step "mechanics" or CVT.

According to representatives of the company, the new crossover should play a key role in the further development of SsangYong. Accordingly, it is possible that the Koreans are doing on the future novelty very serious bid. Sales SsangYong X100 should start early next year, and now crossover, apparently completes the program of road tests.
