Maserati will not produce compact models

Maserati is not going to sacrifice for the sake of your own exclusive sales sky-high. In particular, the Italians are not interested in the issue of the car more compact than Ghibli, or less powerful than the rival 5-Series.

Italian brand does not need to produce compact cars, as they do not need this niche market. Instead Maserati try their hand in the segment of premium crossovers. The following year, the market goes Levante - the long-awaited project Maserati.

The company are aiming for 75,000 cars sold, but it is only in 2018, when the range of the company will expand to six cars: Ghibli, Levante, Quattroporte, Alfieri in coupe and convertible, as well as the heir to the GranTurismo. If the goal is reached, the level of sales of the Italian brand will grow almost five times compared to the same period of 2013.

Despite the desire for growth, the company is not willing to part with the status of an exclusive. Of course, this is not Autoexotics, but not as a machine that can be found by simply going around the corner.
