Photospies "caught" Aston Martin sedan without camouflage

At the disposal of the publication Autocar were spy photos of a luxury sedan Aston Martin, which will be sold under the name Lagonda. The car has been photographed without camouflage during testing in Oman.

Lagonda planned to sell only in the Middle East. Buy a car will be available only by special invitation from the producer. Sedan built on the same aluminum chassis VH, which was used on all Aston Martin since 2001, and will be equipped, as expected, twelve-cylinder 5.9. The unit can be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission ZF.

The same powerplant is equipped hatchback Rapide S. After restyling model engine develops 560 horsepower, allowing you to dial "hundreds" of 4.4 seconds.

All instances of Aston Martin Lagonda will be assembled by hand at the factory in Gaydon UK. The public debut of the sedan will be held next year.

Initially, the Aston Martin expected to produce under the name Lagonda three models. In 2009, the manufacturer has shown a five-meter SUV concept with the same name, which was supposed to go in the series. Subsequently, however, refused to make the development of off-road vehicle because of the changing strategy of the company.
