Photospies caught the new Chevrolet Camaro

Hunters automotive innovations photographed the first test prototype Chevrolet Camaro sixth generation. The new sports car will make its debut early next year at the International Auto Show in Detroit.

The new generation of Chevrolet Camaro will replace the current GM Zeta platform to lighter and technologically GM Alpha, the underlying Cadillac ATS and CTS.

The design is expected to continue retro style with the borrowing of the individual elements in the second generation Camaro, which was released in 1970. Judging by the spy photos, the changes will affect the front part, including optics, and the exhaust system. However, while the prototype is still too much camouflage to judge about something for sure.

In the range of the motor model for the first time will include a 2.0-liter turbo fours - this 272-hp engine developers also borrow from the "Cadillacs". In addition, the muscle will retain the current 3.6-liter V6 and 6.2-liter V8 and possibly acquire new turbo six.

Production of new items will be deployed at the factory General Motors Lansing Grand River in Michigan. First will come the base model and the Camaro SS, then join them ZL1 version and Z / 28.
