Porsche has tested Cayman and Boxster with new motors (Video)

Porsche is held at the Nurburgring test models Cayman and Boxster, equipped with four-cylinder engines. 





According to Car and Driver, it is unknown whether the test prototypes were equipped with turbocharged or naturally aspirated engine. The publication adds that both engines will modify models of the German mark. 

It is expected that all four-cylinder Porsche will have direct fuel injection and supercharging. Jr. in the lineup will be 1.6-liter unit. His return will be about 210 horsepower. Motor appears, for example, on a compact roadster, which in the model number of the company takes place on the stage below Boxster. 


  The first "Four" get Cayman, Boxster and Cayenne. The first model is now offered with three petrol six-cylinder engines ranging from 265 to 330 horsepower, the second - from 275 to 340 forces. It is possible that the 1.6-liter engine will also appear on the sports models of Volkswagen and Audi.
