A small British company Atalanta Motors to build a modern version of the sports car Atalanta Sports Tourer 1937. The first 75 years of car brand Atalanta, a combination of modern technology and retro philosophy, will be unveiled on September 5 design exhibition Concours of Elegance in Hampton Court.
First Atalanta Sports Tourer brought before the public March 5, 1937. The company managed to collect only 21 cars, after which the company ceased to exist - as the main reason is called the Second World War.
However, at that time, sports cars Atalanta were among the most technologically advanced in Europe. In 2012, a fan of retro cars from Staffordshire Corfield Martin announced the revival of the brand.
It is argued that the modern version of Atalanta Sports Tourer, despite the retro design, meets all current safety standards. Sports car body is made of aluminum, and the outer parts are made by hand.
But on the power unit representatives Atalanta until prefer not to, but argue that a sports car is 90% of the components of its own design.
We already know that every car that plans to produce a British company, will be created with all the requirements of a potential owner. How many sports cars will be born, and yet to be announced.
