Mitsubishi will build a hybrid version of the Outlander sport

Mitsubishi has issued a teaser concept car, which will be shown in October at the Paris Motor Show. The prototype will be a "sport" version of the hybrid crossover Outlander PHEV. The novelty will receive the title prefix Concept S. 




According to the company, all-wheel drive concept car Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept S will be able to "move silently", without losing its off-road capabilities. In addition, the prototype will get "refined trim" and his appearance will be "refined." The Japanese brand has opted for novelty slogan "Sport and best." 

Details of the power plant "sports hybrid" Outlander unavailable. Normal crossover is equipped with two-liter petrol engine producing 134 horsepower, two 80-horsepower electric motor and lithium-ion battery capacity of 12 kilowatt-hours. The electric coupe can travel up to 55 kilometers. When you connect the internal combustion engine to charge the battery on the road, range increased to 875 kilometers. 


Earlier it was reported that a hybrid version will get the next generation SUV Pajero. It is expected that the power plant will be borrowed just at Outlander PHEV.
