Korean automaker SsangYong revealed their plans for the Paris Motor Show 2014 kicks off on 4 October. The company announced two concepts: XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure.
According to the manufacturer, the current trends are intended to demonstrate the latest advances in the creation of "eXciting user-Interface Vehicle (XIV)" (literally - a car with a spectacular user interface) - a kind of active-promoted SsangYong concept, of course, basically, only by the creators and living separate life from dealership to dealership since 2011.
Concepts SsangYong, XIV-Air with the roof open and more "brutal" XIV-Adventure, have the same length - 4,195 mm from bumper to bumper, and kodesnuyu base 2600 mm. In the motion, they are the 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines that meet the requirements in relation to the hard emission standard Euro 6.
The producer pointed to future competitors, which should be prepared for the redistribution of the segment, and commented that "given the size crossovers identical Chevrolet Tracker and the Renault Captur".
