GM launched to test a new generation of Chevrolet Volt

Road test of the new Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle tested in Carolina. The first public display of new items will be held at the Detroit Motor Show in January next year.

The company said that power reserve Volt without recharging will be significantly increased, from 60 to 96 kilometers. In addition, there will be a cheaper version with reduced battery for the electric motor. Other technical details of the car kept secret. In the sale of the car should arrive in the middle of 2015. 


Chevrolet Volt current generation is equipped with a 160-horsepower electric motor and 1.4-liter gasoline generator that can recharge the batteries. In this case, the power reserve is increased up to 500 kilometers.
