Hero MotoCorp hired a designer BMW

A former employee of the German motorcycle manufacturer BMW Marcus Braunshperger head the research and development department of Hero MotoCorp.

This department appeared at the Indian company in September 2013 as a special project of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hero Pavan Mudzhala. The project aims to bring a more modern and more aggressive approach to motorcycles that Hero is planning to export to the international market.

Marcus Braunshperger worked in the design department BMW, he participated in the design and construction of the BMW 3-Series, 5-Series, 7-Series, as well as the X3 and X5. In this Braunshperger also responsible for R & D department in the motorcycle division of the Bavarian BMW Motorrad, so he comes to the Indian company with extensive experience in both directions.

Center for Global Innovation, Research and Design Hero is located in Kukas industrial center not far from Jaipur in Rajasthan. According to Indian sources, a role in the work of the center will also play an American company Eric Buell Racing (EBR). According to Indian media reports, the founder and CEO Erik Buell attended the opening ceremony of the research center.

Hero MotoCorp recently bought a minority stake in EBR, funding the development of new motorcycles and contributing to the expansion of the dealer network EBR, particularly in Europe. In exchange EBR should fill the modern Indian motorcycles taken from motor racing, technology and cutting-edge design, for Hero in the very near future is going to start exporting its equipment to Western markets.

Now that we have Marcus Braunshpergera as head of the research areas, the Indians will try, probably, to take all necessary not only from American but also from the German motorcycle technology. Apparently, in 2015, we can expect the emergence of interesting new products from Hero.
