At the plant in the Spanish city of Vitoria started production of Mercedes-Benz Vito new generation. The van will start selling in Europe in October this year.
The car received a new interior and exterior style V-Class. Minivan will be offered with three different overall length - 4895, 5140 and 5370 mm, and with three types of drive - complete front or rear to choose from.
Front wheel drive version will be powered by 1.6 liter diesel engine capacity of 88 or 114 horsepower. All-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive version will have 2.15-liter diesel engine delivers power 136, 163 or 190 hp depending on the configuration.
Front-wheel and rear-wheel drive 136-hp version of the database will receive a six-speed manual transmission, seven-step "automatic machine" will be equipped with all-wheel drive versions, as well as 190-horsepower rear-wheel drive car.
Optional automatic transmission can be installed on all rear-wheel drive version. The car will be available in three different versions - passenger, cargo, and is intended solely for the transportation of goods. Gross weight of the van will be from 2.5 tons to 3.2 tons.
