Suzuki has released the first official image of the new series of crossover, which was named Vitara. Under this name, the Japanese were selling small coupe, which appeared on the market in 1988. The public premiere of new items will be held in early October at the Paris Motor Show.
According to the manufacturer, Vitara is a marketable version of the concept car iV-4, shown last fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The prototype was originally created in order to demonstrate the design of future all road maintenance company. Overall length iV-4 was 4215 mm, width - 1850 mm, height - 1665 mm, and the wheelbase is 2500 millimeters.
The standard version of Suzuki Vitara will be offered with front-wheel drive, but the novelty will also be available with permanent all-wheel drive ALLGRIP. The range of engines will include petrol and diesel engines, other than "low emissions and outstanding fuel economy in its segment."
Buyers of the new Vitara offer customization program with a wide choice of body colors and skirts. It is expected that the European sales of new items will begin in the spring of next year. Prices suv are not announced.
