MG has tested its first electric

Conducted a test-drive version of the conceptual electric MG EV, which the company plans to start production in the near future. Test drive was held at the famous track at Silverstone.

Designers of the British branch of MG had a hand in the creation of a new European version of the body electric. The result was a stylish car, particularly attracted the attention of the rear suspension.

Worthy looks and interior car - in the cabin a lot of space to accommodate up to 4 adults 180 cm tall. Elegant central touchscreen control panel infotainment; light inserts in the interior door panels add a sense of ease and comfort.

MG EV batteries located under the floor of the car. Engine - synchronous permanent magnet motor (PMSM). Thickness - 70 HP / 8,000 rev / min.

Cruising on the statements of MG ranges from 80 to 115 km. If it seems that it's not much, it is worth to note that the manufacturer claims the mileage for the car with the light on, working wipers, heated cabin in the "winter", and radio broadcasters, that is all that is very significantly reduces the battery charge. Thus, the stock will be more than enough for the daily commute.

Manual MG does not disclose the exact release date of the car MG EV production line, primarily because they expect consensus in Europe about universal design sockets for charging electric vehicles, but the solution is not far off.
