The Chinese market came minivan budget Baojun 730

General Motors has developed, together with a Chinese corporation SAIC developed a seven-seat minivan budget Baojun 730, designed exclusively for the Chinese market. Suspension tuning model, whose name translates from Chinese as "Precious Horse", was engaged in the British company Lotus Engineering. 




In front of a minivan, the wheelbase is 2750 mm which is suspension type McPherson, and rear - torsion beam. The model has a landing formula 2 +2 +3, while the back row, as assures manufacturer, can comfortably accommodate three adults. 


With the third row seats folded luggage compartment volume of 330 liters. 
In addition, the cabin are a total of 22 compartments for small items. Minivan was the first model built by GM and SAIC in accordance with the concept of corporate Protection for All ("Protection for all"). As stated by the manufacturer, more than half of the chassis are made of high-strength steel used in the assembly and laser welding. 


Complex passive safety equipment includes four airbags and ABS with brake force distribution. The stabilization system is only available for a surcharge. 
Baoyun 730 introduced in the market with petrol engines of 1.5 and 1.8 liter capacity which is 112 and 142 horsepower respectively. These power plants are also used in other models of the company - 630 sedan. 


Half liter engine has been jointly developed by GM and SAIC. Claimed fuel consumption - 7.1 liters per hundred kilometers. The machine is available to order with only front wheel drive and a five-speed manual gearbox. 


The list of equipment is listed minivan multimedia system with an eight-inch touch screen. External devices can be connected to it as a USB and Bluetooth, and via HDMI-port. In addition, the machine is equipped with a rearview camera, dual-zone climate control and sunroof. 


Cost Baojun 730 in the Chinese market is from 69 to 81 thousand yuan.
