BMW 2-Series Active Tourer has received three new engines

The Bavarian automaker said about the changes in the power range of the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, where three new unit. 


Composition of the range motors complement the 2.0-liter gasoline engine and two diesel unit in volume of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. Gasoline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine has a power of 192 hp and maximum torque of 280 Nm. Compact BMW 220i Active Tourer, accelerating for 7.5 s. to first "hundred", reaches a top speed of 230 km / h. 

Diesel 3-cylinder 1.5-liter unit has a capacity of 116 hp and peak torque of 270 Nm. With the new engine compact van 216d Active Tourer "shoots" from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.6 seconds. and has a top speed of 195 km / h. The main advantage of the new version of the model is the low fuel consumption: the combined per 100 km car consumes no more than 3.9 liters of fuel. 


Another diesel engine displacement of 2.0 liters produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. In the combined cycle with the motor model 220d Active Tourer consumes on average up to 4.5 liters of fuel per "steward" of the path. 

New engines, with the exception of 3-cylinder unit, available with six-speed manual transmission and automatic transmission Steptronic, numbering eight steps. Diesel 1.5-liter engine combined with a manual transmission only. 


Also carmaker BMW said that in some markets prepare BMW all-wheel drive versions of the models 220d Active Tourer and 225i Active Tourer. For machines equipped with xDrive, provides only an automatic transmission.
