On a motor show in the German city of Essen, November 29, will be presented the fastest track version Skoda Fabia. The model is called R5.
Racing prototype, which is a kind of successor to the Fabia S2000, "lit up" in a new video teaser Skoda. At the core lies R5 hatchback Fabia third generation. No specifications Czech manufacturer has not yet disclose.
According to the rules of the competition FIA R5, the machine must be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. Minimum weight is 1230 kg hatchback. Most likely, the Czechs used sequential gearbox. On the track this Skoda will appear next year.
